Quote-unquote #35

Hello! It was a rough week as I was sick with Covid. So I'm sticking to writing some minimal stuff. Here are some quotes I liked.

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate."
Carl Jung.

"Failure is often the turning point, the pivot of circumstance that swings us to higher levels. It may not be financial success, it may not be fame; it may be new draughts of spiritual, moral, or mental inspiration that will change us for all the later years of our life. Life is not really what comes to us, but what we get from it."

"Your real résumé is just a catalog of all your suffering."
Naval Ravikant.

"I have known people who rose to the challenge of enduring the most terrible afflictions and situations as long as they believed there was a point to their suffering. Whether it was a family milestone they wanted to live long enough to share or the prospect of doctors finding a cure by studying their illness, having a Why to live for enabled them to bear the How."
Viktor Frankl.

"The 24-hour rule states that you turn the page every day. No matter what. You can celebrate or cry, but tomorrow you turn the page. Tomorrow is a new day. Those anchored to the past are incapable of seeing the future. Learn from the past but don’t hang on to it."
